Happy Monday!
This week we’re working on silencing that voice inside that has us questioning ourselves, but, you know the drill — before we can get to that, we’ve gotta complete our Best Week Basics. Grab your notebook and spend the next 20 minutes laying the groundwork for having your best week ever.
🦋 Following the "Best Week Basics" is essential to having your best week ever. Use this time to really plan for the week ahead and think about what needs to happen for you to feel like you had a productive, fulfilling week.
🪞 Reflection: Reflect on last week. What went wrong? What went right? What can you celebrate? What can you try to do better this week?
✨ Intention: Set your intentions for this week. What needs to happen to ensure you have the absolute best week ever? Take a few minutes to do a brain dump and organize your to-do list if you feel overwhelmed.
📆 Time block: Review your calendar and make sure you have time blocked off to complete your most important and urgent tasks.
🔮 Every week I pull a tarot card to give us guidance for the week. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.
💃 This week’s reading by Danielle
In case you missed it last week, my bff Danielle is an emerging intuitive and a gifted tarot reader who is now contributing to the tarot section!
We attended our other bestie’s wedding reception last weekend and Danielle ended up doing probably a dozen impromptu readings for friends & family — they were all blown away by the accuracies of their reading.
I had her pull a yes/no answer card for me, and spoiler alert: it was not the answer I wanted.
That’s the thing about the cards, though — they’re going to show you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.
Remember, though — it’s okay to take what resonates and leave what doesn’t. This is a group reading for the purpose of giving us guidance on how to achieve our best week ever.
Week of June 17, 2024: Six of Wands (reversed)

The suit of Wands is all about energy!
When the Six of Wands appears in reverse, it encourages you to look inward for your own definition of success. Don’t rely on others for validation!
If you have found yourself seeking approval from others or comparing yourself or your achievements, now is the time to stop and focus your energy on you. Do not let others determine what is successful and what is not.
The Six of wands Reversed can also suggest that you have reached a milestone or personal achievement and are not ready to share. Instead you feel more comfortable keeping this to yourself. This could be because it is personal or you are uncomfortable with recognition and praise. If this resonates with you, it’s time to check your energy! Don’t be afraid to shine and share your accomplishments.
The shadow side of the Reversed Six of Wands can also hint at egotistical behaviors. If you are one to brag and boast, beware! This card suggests that someone is ready to knock you down a peg!
Lastly, the Six of Wands Reversed can hint that you did not get the recognition or validation that you were seeking. You do not feel appreciated. Your hard work may have gone unrecognized or you may have received negative feedback or criticism. Now your confidence has taken a hit! If this resonates with you, just remember this card is all about YOUR energy. It’s okay to get knocked down, just don’t forget to get back up. Dust yourself off, and reset.
The Six of Wands is a Minor Arcana Card.
This situation is only temporary, my friend.
🌙 This week the moon is moving into a waxing gibbous phase. This is a great time to grow intentions!
🌕 We will have a Full Moon on June 22! This is a time of reflection. I encourage you to ask yourself, “What is working and what is not?”
🔭 Pluto is in retrograde until October. This may push us out of our comfort zone! This can lead to feeling off balance in your life. On the flip side, Pluto in retrograde can serve as a time to shed the past and let go of negative emotions that have been weighing you down.
Affirmation: I define success on my own terms and release the need for external approval.
Does this reading resonate with you? We want to know!

Monday Musings: Are you settling?
My life looks so different than it did just a year ago, and it’s got me thinking about how much can change in a year. With that in mind, I’ve been spending intentional time on visualizing the future, dreaming big and setting huge goals.
But almost without fail, as soon as I start to really expand what could be possible, a little voice whispers, “Isn’t that a bit too much? Maybe you should scale it down.”
And then I’ll begin to back peddle and think, “Well, I’d be happy if I could just …”
Why do we do that?!
Why do we clip the proverbial wings of our dreams before they’ve even had a chance to take flight?
It's something many of us do—out of fear, self-doubt, or perhaps a belief that we're not deserving of more. But what if we challenged that narrative? What if, instead of questioning our worthiness or the feasibility of our dreams, we embraced the possibility of achieving them?
When we settle for less, we’re not just limiting our potential—we’re also denying ourselves the opportunity to experience the best version of our lives. We get stuck in a cycle of setting smaller, safer goals because they feel achievable. But in doing so, we miss out on the incredible growth and fulfillment that comes from pursuing our biggest dreams.
It’s not about being unrealistic; it’s about being bold enough to imagine a life that excites and inspires you.
So anywho – I’m committed to getting out of this habit of settling and refocus on creating my best life.
If you need permission to go big, here it is. Permission granted. Let’s do this s#it together. Here are some strategies we can use:
Get uncomfortable: You know how the saying goes, “life begins at the end of your comfort zone”. Rather than shying away from the fear and doubt let’s lean into it and recognize it as a sign that we’re on the right path.
Set stupidly huge goals: Just gonna go for it. If you can dream it, you can have it.
Visualize success: Dedicate time every week (every day is even better!) to visualize your dream life. What does “a day in the life” look like when you’re living your best life? Allow it to play out in your mind like you’re watching a Truman Show version of your life.
Keep the vibes high: Spend time with people who light you up and inspire you. Limit time with those who suck your energy or lower your vibration.
Celebrate the small stuff: When the goals are huge, the wins are small. Realize that every single small win is getting you closer to your dream life and take the time to recognize and celebrate that win.
Reframe setbacks: You didn’t f#ck it up, you just needed to correct your course. See setbacks as opportunities for growth and look for the lesson. One of my favorite affirmations is, “My success is inevitable, I am always on the right path”.
📆 We’ve got 6 months left in 2024, let’s commit to not settling. Let’s strive to create not just the best week ever, but the best life ever.
You deserve nothing less than extraordinary.
