Happy Monday!

I’ve got an exciting update for the tarot section, and I want to know if you’ve had this mindset shift yet. BUT, before we can get to that, we’ve gotta complete our Best Week Basics. Grab your notebook and spend the next 20 minutes laying the groundwork for having your best week ever.

🦋 Following the "Best Week Basics" is essential to having your best week ever. Use this time to really plan for the week ahead and think about what needs to happen for you to feel like you had a productive, fulfilling week.

  1. 🪞 Reflection: Reflect on last week. What went wrong? What went right? What can you celebrate? What can you try to do better this week?

  2. Intention: Set your intentions for this week. What needs to happen to ensure you have the absolute best week ever? Take a few minutes to do a brain dump and organize your to-do list if you feel overwhelmed.

  3. 📆 Time block: Review your calendar and make sure you have time blocked off to complete your most important and urgent tasks.

🔮 Every week I pull a tarot card to give us guidance for the week. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

🎉 Exciting new update for our tarot section!

I’m so glad to welcome my very best friend, Danielle, to the Best Week Ever Newsletter!

Danielle is an emerging intuitive and has a genuine gift when it comes to reading tarot, so I was so excited when she offered to contribute to this section.

In addition to our intention card, Danielle has also provided some context to the card as it pertains to the current lunar phase, and planetary alignments — she is much more thorough in her readings and I think you’ll gain so much more insight from her perspective!

Week of June 10, 2024: Three of Pentacles (reversed)

Is everyone on your team pulling their weight? Communication is going to be key to getting things back on track.

When the Three of Pentacles appears in reverse, it hints at potential challenges within a team dynamic. It's possible that there's a disconnect in communication, a failure to appreciate each other's input, or a divergence from the project's original objectives.

If this resonates with you, then it's crucial to realign with the project's initial goals and establish new agreements on how to collaborate effectively.

This card in reverse can also indicate that you feel like going at it alone and ready to get the job done yourself.  You are tired of waiting on everyone else to get on the same page. You might be right and it could be time to take matters into your own hands. However, if you need help, don’t be afraid to communicate.

Lastly, the Three of Pentacles Reversed can point to a stagnant job or the feeling of being stuck in a mundane work routine. If you're experiencing a lack of fulfillment and recognize that your skills aren't being fully utilized or acknowledged, it might be a sign that it's time to consider making a career move.

The Three of Pentacles is a Minor Arcana Card. This means that the outcome is totally in your control. You have the power to change your situation!

🌙 This week the moon is moving into a waxing crescent phase. This phase symbolizes regeneration.  This is a great time for growth, success, courage, luck, health, and friendship.

🔭 Pluto is in retrograde until October. This may push us out of our comfort zone! This can lead to feeling off balance in your life. On the flip side, Pluto in retrograde can serve as a time to shed the past and let go of negative emotions that have been weighing you down.

The World is TRULY your oyster my friends, now seize the day!

Affirmation: I am a confident communicator and face internal issues head on.

Monday Musings: Is your mindset holding you back?

In the early years of my first business it was safe to say I was casting a wide net to see what I could catch and that was essentially my business plan.

Need your computer fixed? We got you.
Need a printer set up in your office? Sure!
Want me to build you a website? I can do that!
Manage your social media? Yeah, we do that too!

If you needed it done and were willing to pay my hourly rate for it, I would figure it out.

I needed this business to be successful and I was willing to do almost anything (within reason) if it meant we kept the lights on for another month.

That strategy wasn’t necessarily all bad. It was a phase of exploration, discovering what we liked doing and what we didn’t. Learning what types of clients we enjoyed working with and which to avoid no matter what the dollar amount.

But beneath the surface, there was a mindset that limited my growth, and no amount of new service offerings was going to solve it.

The scarcity mindset.

I saw other businesses as competitors vying for the same limited pool of opportunities. Every client they gained felt like a loss for me, a missed opportunity. This mentality not only hindered my ability to form meaningful connections with fellow entrepreneurs but also constrained my own potential for growth and collaboration.

What I've come to realize is that the world is not a zero-sum game. There's an abundance of opportunities, clients, and collaborations waiting to be explored. Instead of viewing others as competition, I now see them as potential collaborators, sources of inspiration, and valuable allies in the journey of entrepreneurship.

I can not tell you how many genuine friendships and connections have come out of letting my guard down and really leaning into the idea of community over competition.

So if you’ve got a little green eyed monster inside of you, or if you’re afraid of losing opportunities simply because others exist in your space, here are a few ways to work on shifting from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset:

  1. Celebrate Others' Success: Rather than feeling envious or threatened by others' achievements, celebrate them. Their success doesn't diminish yours but rather contributes to a thriving ecosystem.

  2. Collaborate and Network: Build relationships. Collaborative projects, referrals, and shared resources can lead to mutual growth and success.

  3. Focus on Value Creation: Shift your focus from competition to value creation. When you prioritize delivering value to your community, success naturally follows.

  4. Practice Gratitude: Cultivate a mindset of gratitude. Appreciate what you have, including the opportunities and connections that come your way.

  5. Continuous Learning: Stay curious and open to learning from others. Embrace new ideas, perspectives, and strategies that can enhance your business and mindset.

The next time you feel that scarcity mindset creep up, remember: More for you doesn’t mean less for me.

🥂 Cheers to a week filled with abundance, collaboration, and connecting without expectations!
