Happy Monday!
Happy July!
Happy Q3!
We’re celebrating lots of fresh starts today, and I’m excited to be sharing my process for creating your best quarter ever, but before you plan your quarter, let’s make sure you’ve planned this week. Let’s complete our Best Week Basics. Grab your notebook and spend the next 20 minutes laying the groundwork for having your best week ever.
🦋 Following the "Best Week Basics" is essential to having your best week ever. Use this time to really plan for the week ahead and think about what needs to happen for you to feel like you had a productive, fulfilling week.
🪞 Reflection: Reflect on last week. What went wrong? What went right? What can you celebrate? What can you try to do better this week?
✨ Intention: Set your intentions for this week. What needs to happen to ensure you have the absolute best week ever? Take a few minutes to do a brain dump and organize your to-do list if you feel overwhelmed.
📆 Time block: Review your calendar and make sure you have time blocked off to complete your most important and urgent tasks.
🔮 Every week I pull a tarot card to give us guidance for the week. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.
💃 This week’s reading by Danielle
Week of July 1, 2024: Eight of Cups (reversed)

The Suit of Cups is all about emotions, feelings, and relationships.
When the Eight of Cups Reversed is pulled during a reading it points to feelings of disappointment, indecision, walking away from something, or dissatisfaction.
This card raises the question, “Should I Stay or Should I go?” You may find yourself asking, “Is it time to move on or should I give this one more chance?” Whether this applies to a job, project, or personal situation, the Eight of Cups (Reversed) is calling you to look deep down and acknowledge how you are really feeling. As the old saying goes, “listen to your heart”. While we are used to making logical decisions of the mind, the suit of cups urges us to use our emotions and feelings to guide us. It gives you permission to think, “What is it that I want?” and “What am I going to do about it?”
The Eight of Cups Reversed can also signal that you are dissatisfied with some aspect of your life. This may be causing you to drift aimlessly without a clear purpose or direction. You may feel lost and don’t know what to do. If this resonates with you, then ask yourself, “What will make me happy?” and “What can I do to achieve this?”
Here is the good news…. This is a minor arcana card, which means that these feelings are only temporary. You always have the power to change your perception or situation. You can do whatever it is that your heart desires! We all need to take the time to check in and make sure that we are living life in a way that fulfills us. Life is short, don’t settle for anything less than Awesome!
The Eight of Cups is a Minor Arcana Card.
These feelings are only temporary.
You always have the power to change your perception or situation.
🌙 This week the moon is moving into a waning crescent phase. It is the perfect time to release anything that is not serving you or let go of any negative feelings. The New Moon on July 5th is your chance to manifest and set new goals!
🔭 Pluto is in retrograde until October. This may push us out of our comfort zone! This can lead to feeling off balance in your life. On the flip side, Pluto in retrograde can serve as a time to shed the past and let go of negative emotions that have been weighing you down.
Affirmation: I am open to clarity and have the courage to make the right decision.

Monday Musings: Your Best Quarter Ever
A Monday, a new month, and a new quarter all in the same day, does it get any more fresh start than that?!
Whether you felt like Q2 was a blur, or you just want Q3 to be your best one yet, creating a plan that you can actually map out and follow through on is the key to having your best quarter ever.
Here's why creating a quarterly plan is important:
Focus & Prioritize: Planning forces you to identify your most important goals and eliminate distractions.
Accountability & Commitment: Putting goals on paper makes you more accountable and committed to achieving them.
Motivation & Momentum: Seeing progress on a well-defined plan fuels motivation and keeps you moving forward.
Ready to transform your next quarter? Let's dive into the steps:
Step 1: Reflect on Q2 - A Look Back
Before diving into the future, take a moment to acknowledge the past quarter. Celebrate your wins! List your accomplishments, big and small. What went well? Why?
Also take time to analyze areas for improvement. What took more time than you anticipated? Is there anything you wish you would have planned better for or approached differently?
How do you measure your success in Q2?
Step 2: Brain Dump - Everything on the Table
Now, let's get everything out of your head! What's coming up in the next 90 days? Dump it all on a list: vacations, work travel, deadlines, self-care days – everything!
The goal is to get everything out of our brains so we can sort through it, make sense of it, and make a plan for it. Nothing is too trivial to be written down if you think it’s a goal, task, or project that you want to tackle in the next 90 days.
Step 3: Set SMART Goals - Make it Measurable!
Here comes the roadmap! We'll use the SMART framework to set powerful goals:
Specific: Be clear and concise. What exactly do you want to achieve?
Measurable: How will you know you've been successful? Define clear metrics.
Attainable: Set ambitious yet achievable goals that push you to grow.
Relevant: Align your goals with your overall vision and priorities.
Time-Bound: Set a deadline for achieving each goal.
Step 4: Prioritize and Plan - Break it Down
Now, let's prioritize! Choose your most important goal and break it down into actionable steps. Estimate the time needed for each step. This creates a clear path to achieving your goal.
After you’ve done this for each goal, evaluate if you actually have the time to achieve everything. If not, is there anything that you can delegate, tasks you can automate, or items you can simply eliminate?
Step 5: Map It Out - Calendar Power!
Now that you’ve set your goals and priorities, it’s time to make time.
Add all of your commitments, meetings, appointments, deadlines, etc to your calendar first, then block out time to work on your goals. These implementation intentions will help you stay on track and ensure you have dedicated time throughout the quarter to work on your goals — this way you won’t be left scrambling and can feel confident that nothing is falling through the cracks.
Your Best Week Ever can become your Best Quarter Ever
Pair your quarterly plan with the Best Week Ever method and you’ll have the perfect process for turning small weekly wins into big quarterly wins, which will then equal huge annual wins.
Best Week Ever > Best Month Ever > Best Quarter Ever > Best Year Ever
