It’s the second week of Q2, but with the holiday last week I won’t judge you if this is your first “real” week of the quarter. Let’s get right into it & complete our Best Week Basics. Grab your notebook and spend the next 20 minutes laying the groundwork for having your best week ever.
🦋 Following the "Best Week Basics" is essential to having your best week ever. Use this time to really plan for the week ahead and think about what needs to happen for you to feel like you had a productive, fulfilling week.
🪞 Reflection: Reflect on last week. What went wrong? What went right? What can you celebrate? What can you try to do better this week?
✨ Intention: Set your intentions for this week. What needs to happen to ensure you have the absolute best week ever? Take a few minutes to do a brain dump and organize your to-do list if you feel overwhelmed.
📆 Time block: Review your calendar and make sure you have time blocked off to complete your most important and urgent tasks.

Last week we learned that The Suit of Cups is all about emotions, feelings, and relationships. Our previous card, “The of Eight of Cups Reversed” pointed to feelings of disappointment, indecision, walking away from something, or dissatisfaction, and this week’s Five of Cups doubles down that reading
This card indicates that there are feelings of regret, loss, failure, disappointment, or discontent. It typically shows up when a situation hasn’t turned out like you planned. At this point, you may be having a hard time moving on from this set back or situation. If this resonates, don’t allow yourself to sit and dwell on this misfortune. All that will do is hold you back. This card can also come as a warning to missed opportunities. So, it is very important to release these feelings and move on to create a positive change.
Whether you are frustrated with yourself, someone else or your current situation; this card shows that it is time to forgive and forget. It is best to learn from mistakes and allow each setback or disappointment to serve as an opportunity for growth. The card may picture three spilled cups but let’s not forget that there are two cups that are still full! Don’t allow yourself to focus on the negative or give in to pessimism. Change your mindset to that of a positive perspective. That way when an opportunity comes knocking, you are ready!
The Five of Cups also shows that even though things have been hard for a while, there will be new opportunities and possibilities waiting for you. Again, the key being “ When you are ready”. After all, “it’s always darkest before dawn”.
